FEEDing Creativity, Nurturing Communities, Harvesting Financial Success

FEED Worldwide Workshop

Day 1

Dream Sharon, Dream

When she first say the poem, I didn’t feel anything I was saying, ok, ok it’s a nice poem about her and that’s all. But when on the last day, she told me to replace my name by her name. I said Dream Peace, dream Peace! I felt so good! It was like I was also given the permission to dream!

Then while at home, I started figuring out my current situation and where I want to go (which is a dream to me now).

We were taught by a young lady so confident; she knew what she was delivering. She challenged me so much when she requested us to write our personal goals for 3 months. I was like what? I know the Vision 2020 for my country, I know the goals of my institution,….but I have never wrote my own goals? I was so emotional (I cried and went out). I was so happy about this workshop because this workshop was about me this time. I always attend many workshop organized by my institution but most of the time it is like they are talking about the goals of the institutions, how to achieve them,….

Because I knew it was about film, I set a goal about movies (I will write a script entitled: Journey with myself). Where I would like to show that you can find 2 people in one person.

This workshop was like a confirmation of what I have been feeling .

Peace who are you? What do you want?

When I started the workshop, I was like I am a lot (because I am involved in many things). I remember when I was given JADA in the introduction part, I told her who I was,….she smiled and but you are doing a lot of things. Although I just summarized whom I think I was. Let me write here whom I thought I was

  1. I am a wife
  2. I am a mother
  3. I am a group admin of 25 groups and member of 10
  4. I am a scriptwriter and a member in RSU
  5. I am an actress
  6. I am a film director
  7. I am a coordinator in BeneGasega family fellowship
  8. I am a Program manager in the UR
  9. I am a researcher
  10. I am in charge of UR-SPH data base
  11. I am the Lunch hour fellowship coordinator at SPH
  12. I am the President of Social group at SPH
  13. I am the President of women in our village
  14. I am a street leader
  15. I am a member in the Board of Trustees in our church
  16. I am a member in the Compassion ministry at our church
  17. I am a Sunday school teacher
  18. I am in charge of Kagugu compassion (Vulnerable children)
  19. I am a member in the couples ministry
  20. I am a member in the Women Ministry
  21. I am a cell leader
  22. I am a basketball player in the University of Rwanda,

When you think you are this entire list above, you can’t have time to settle your own goals, or think about yourself. I am like always responding to other people’s need.

That is the struggle I have. I am like I have 2 Peace (Inner Peace, outer Peace).

About constraints, we were told to write down our constraints

No self confidence with my products and fear of failing, (I have my 3 movies kept in my computer).

How can I sell my products, when I am even not confident about them?

I am like I am holding my thoughts, I am afraid to fly, please don’t dare to show your products, people will laugh at you,..

  1. I鈥檓 impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that鈥檚 both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
